I really enjoyed this game it was insanely scary and you do a good job of ensuring it doesn't get frustrating! I do wish it was more different than the first game since it's essentially the same! Looking forward to see what the other chapters are like! Great job!
Really love the series man, If i could throw something in your ear you gotta let the chases have a little more variety. What's the point of having the closets to hide in if I'm not able to make it to them, if there's no way to shake away from the monster then it becomes a die and wait till the parts randomize in a good spot type of game. BUT besides that I love the Lore !! I honestly can't wait for chapter 3!!
Personally, I am not really a big fan of the hunting-doll-parts mechanic, but I DO like the story & it didn't take away the fun from the game & only wish for a little variety with the chases, but that's just me! I can't wait for chapter 3 & the final chapter for Simon's shift! :) I WILL BE THERE
This Chapter was okay. I enjoyed the same concept as to putting the doll back together and then burning it to get rid of the creature. The scare factor was there, but after a while the jumpscare wasn't too crazy. The game is fantastic so far, but i'd highly recommend adjusting the creature's speed, it felt way too fast for normal difficulty. Other then that, solid chapter! can't wait to see more

I noticed several more visual bugs, and all in all, I just don't feel it was as strong as the first one. I hope chapter three can bounce back!
I played and enjoyed the first game so I had to support and play the second. Even though the beginning was a bit more dialogue heavy, it helped to build an understanding of what was happening. For me, it was another solid entry.
Loved it! I didn't mind this chapter at all; I like that it lets you attach more to the family's lore and slowly uncovering their hidden truth. The forest environment is nice and colorful which I also enjoyed looking at.
I finished this on Hard Mode but I would've loved if the difficulty settings also had an extra toggle that said "Keep Items?", which basically makes it even more challenging (although that on Hard Mode might need a bit of tweaking since you can't outrun the monster.. maybe baiting him by dropping batteries or flashlight strobe effect? 🤔)
Anyways, can't wait to see what the next Chapter brings us! Keep it up ❤️
I have played Matilda 2.. and personally, first 10 minutes was just dialogue, and not much gameplay until it got to finding the doll pieces.. 1st Matilda didn't seem to faff around and got into the action, personally. Maybe if you do a chapter 3, maybe a different game rather than the same stuff.. and also it felt impossible to hide from the monster as she always seemed to catch me haha. I also HOPE we didn't have some hallucination, as it came back to the picnic bit.. I hope there is some context.. But I look forward to see chapter 3, and see if it has any changes. Overall, I did have fun, and I did get spooked, I also liked that it followed through after the 1st chapter.
I haven't played this game yet, but from what I've seen, I really enjoy watching YouTubers playing it. I feel like Chapter 1 is slightly more difficult compared to Chapter 2, and I'm really looking forward to Chapter 3 :)
I played Both Matilda these were the most W games I have ever played I'm both of them a 10/10 very Scary & Horrifying these were good games Hopefully u see this Dev:)
Reposting because my feedback was deleted. The game felt very underdone and like filler. The story didn't make sense from a 5 year olds perspective, instead they kinda act like he's a teenager. The pieces were very easy to find. Entire game felt very rushed and undercooked, with the music being less exciting and the area you're in feeling like the trees and grass were copy pasted. For a game you're trying to get a goal of 500 for, id hope to see more effort and time put into this.
Edit: im wondering why the goal was set as 500 which 400 was given, now the goal is 200?

Chapter 2 was definitely a bit weaker than chapter 1 but still enjoyable. If there is gonna be a chapter 3, I hope that it'll have a new fun twist to the game mechanic and not the exact same thing again. Chapter 1 and 2 are included in my video :)
I loved the story enough to jump into MATILDA 2, however. Id really like that same feeling we had with the First chapter to come full circle for a Third and final chapter. This felt more like filler, but i'm invested at this time. Lets getter done!

I'm wondering why the goal was 400 out of 500 and now it's been reset to 100/200? It seems misleading.
It was the previous sale, but now as you can see itch io started a Summer Sale 2026 and I've signed all my games to it, so it's a new sale.
Why is it 300 now then? It feels like youre milking this to the max.
